I have had my pressure canner since I was a young newlywed. It has given me years of service as I have fed my family from the garden. I really think it is a wise investment. Pressure canners can be purchased at most discount stores. Walmart carries a 16 quart canner made by presto at very good price. The presto canner has a weight gauge rather than a dial gauge which I recommend as they are easier to use.
