KAPUSKA

Turkish recipe. Look it up for different versions online. But here is the simplest way, my way:

1- oil to pan
2- mince garlic add to oil, saute.
3- cut up onion, add to pan, saute.
4- add 1 spoon of tomato paste, saute.
5- Cut half of a cabbage, not to shred but salad like. Mix 10 minutes.
6- add half cup chopped tomatoes if you have it.
7- add salt.
8- add pepper flakes if you like.
9- add 1 cup water
10- cover, cook till cabbage is soft.
Enjoy.

You can squeeze lemon on when served. There is no wrong way to cook this. I like to add Potatoes sometimes, together with cabbage to make it economical.

In Turkey they add half a cup of rice. I will eat it any way it is made. Spicy is good and it is a must have for winter.
